| Plot Summary of The Wedding |
"Basically, the Connor's father is killed by a clan war when he is 10 in 12th century Scotland and he makes him swear revenge against the Kaerns. Many years later, Connor abducts and marries Brenna, the bride intended for his enemy, who had proposed to him at the age of 3. She utimately falls in love with him but is put at risk. Connor has to find the traitor within his camp, kill the head of the Kaern clan before he can find true happiness with Brenna."

"Connor MacAlister, at 9-10 watches his father die, when they get a secret attack by a traitor. His father, before he dies, makes him promise that he will find revenge for him.
Five years later, Connor is a visitor to Brenna's father castle. At that time Connor was 15-16 and Brenna 5-6. He smiles at her and she, being worried about not finding a husband, asks him to marry him, for his smile was unexpected, charming, and breath away-taking.
Eleven years later, Connor at age 26-27 and Brenna at 16-17, he finds out that Brenna is to marry his enemy...MacNare. Because his brother, Alec Kincaid, had asked him to end the raids, he decides to steal Brenna from him as his last insult.
On her way to marry MacNare, arranged by her father, Brenna is captured by Connor and reminded of the three proposals she made to him in the span of ten years. In exchange for her father's soilders to not be killed by Connor's soilders, she agrees to marry him.
Connor is arrogant, ignorant of woman's feeling's, a salvage, whatever Brenna though of him in the beginning, but his attitute, insulting at times, and quick temper, will make you fall in love with him. All of it has a certain charm, a magnet, toward him.
Brenna is emotional, kind, intelligent, and naive, but with a personality and opinions we can all identify with.
Determined to make the best out of her circumstances, Brenna soughts out to turn Connor from a salvage, to a loving husband, and love him before she became an old woman as she proclaimed in her wedding bows.
However, Connor refuses to let himself fall in love for fear or losing her, due that his father's last words to him about his mother were exactly about never forgiving his mother for dying on him when he love her. Everybody notices that he does; Alec, his two commanders and best friends; Quinlan and Crispin, and his loyal followers. At their lovemaking, even on their first night together, in which he gently forces her to, he that she dared to touch his heart without even knowing how he let it happened.
After seaking revenge for his father, is Connor able to let go of his obsession, and start living his life. However, finding revenge and the traitors is not easy...
