Plot Summary of Blind Aphrodite
"Set in 1780, Claire Aylesbury, a blind woman of privilege sets out to find her missing brother in the war-torn American colonies. Her search leads her to the captain of a mercenary ship, Rutger Grayson, a reclusive man whose battle scars frighten and repulse everyone but the Lady Claire. They embark on a journey together and find both adventure and passion along the way. "
