Plot Summary of Word of Honor
"Guy trying to get along in life. Good job, loving wife. Past comes back to haunt. Terrible, life-changing events unfold as family becomes witness to another side of husband/ father they thought they knew."
Jim Russell, Resident Scholar

"Former Lt. Ben Tyson is charged with murder and other atrocities that were committed not by him, but by his men in his charge in Vietnam. They swore to secrecy the atrocities that occurred at a hospital in Vietnam. His men are not being charge with any crimes, only Ben Tyson, the fallen corporate executive whose honor, family, and career are on the line. A forgotten past has come back to haunt him. A nightmare in the making. A caustic tale from beginning to end for Ben and the military system of justice."
F. Scott Sinclair, Resident Scholar

"Bruce Tyson is a successful business executive with a happy family life when the past comes back to haunt him. The events which took place in Vietnam have bothered him for decades have become common knowledge and Tyson and his command are to stand trial. This is one of Nelson de Mille's best books and impossible to put down, he weaves his plot with the use of memories and flash backs to let his readers know and understand the details of what happened in Vietnam, when a French hospital was destroyed and all the occupants killed. Only one woman survived and Tyson is desperate for her testimony. Each chapter of this book is an adventure and sorting out the villains from the heroes is a challenge right up to the end."
Penny , Resident Scholar
