Plot Summary of Agent of Vega
"This book actually compiles four separate but related stories, about members of a group of futuristic agents called "Zone Agents", who operate in the far future. They are telepathic and cruise in special robot ships which they communicate with and which are mentally attuned to that particular agent. This is space opera which is exciting from beginning to end. Originally published in pulps in the late 40's and early 50's, and collected into a book in about 1960, these stories stand the test of time. Schmitz is my favorite sci-fi writer, and I've always wished he had continued the saga of these Galactic Zone Agents."
Bob Woodley, Resident Scholar
