Plot Summary of The Legend of the Seventh Virgin
"Kerensa is a poor cottage girl who lives in a small town in Cornwall that revolves around the rich, gentry St. Larnston family. She is obsessed by their home, the Abbas, which was once a nunnery, and it becomes a symbol of her fight to rise above her origins. A spooky, intriguing, and fun story about a heroine who we would hate if we didn't understand her, with a bit of romance thrown in. A classic gothic romance from Victoria Holt, who created the genre."
Kate Kelly, Resident Scholar

"Kerensa Carlee was a poor but beautiful cottage girl. She was completely obsessed by the gorgeous home of the St. Larnston family. She was determined to own it one day. Through many trials, she eventually achieved her goal, but with dangerous consequences."
Laura J. Miller, Resident Scholar
