"Dr. Cherijo Grey decides to leave Earth and away from her tyrannical father and accept the position as a doctor on a colony world filled with various alien races. She must battle treacherous coworkers and deadly viruses that threatens the planet and discover a terrible secret from her past that threatens her future! Viehl's world-building skill are impressive and she creates a very memorable heroine and her debut novel is filled with romance, wit, plot twists, and ER- style medical action. This novel bodes well for the future volumes in the series. So hope aboard a spaceship with Dr. Grey and go to the outer reaches of space and inner reaches of the human and no so human heart!"
