| Plot Summary of Always and Forever |
"Sassy Grace Atwood hires ex-lawman Jackson Blake to lead a wagon train of mail order brides out to a new town in Kansas. They are all African-Americans trying to have a better life following Reconstruction when many reprisals are being enacted against the race. Jackson is determined to return to Texas to avenge his father's killing. Really good book and an easy dose of history."
