Plot Summary of Natalie Wood: A Biography in Photographs
"    Classic movie fans remember Natalie Wood as a beautiful and talented star, who grew up before their eyes. Although she had no professional training, she delivered some of the most memorable performances in Hollywood history. From little Susan Walker in the hit Christmas classic "Miracle on 34th Street" to the troubled Judy in "Rebel Without A Cause", Natalie Wood was the consummate professional. Natalie Wood was almost as famous for the men she dated as she was for her movie roles. Warren Beatty, Steve McQueen, Raymond Burr, and the love of her life, Robert Wagner the man she married, divorced, and then remarried, all loved her . Unlike most child stars who are never able to escape the public perception of them as children, Natalie managed to make a successful transition to leading lady.
When most people think of Natalie Wood, the word "tragedy" comes to mind, due to the tragic way she lost her life. In November of 1981, her body was found floating off Catalina Island, sending shockwaves throughout the entertainment industry. Natalie had always expressed a fear of drowning, so this method of death was especially shocking for her many friends and family.
Fans of Natalie Wood prefer to remember her as she was in life, in all of her resplendent glamour, rather than focusing so much attention on her death."
