Plot Summary of Campaign for Love
"Randa Stone is an African American woman in her late thirties who has been recently fired from her position as an advertising director. Due to her fantastic reputation in the field, it doesn't take long for Randa to land a new position at a rival advertising company. Rather than being a director, Randa is now an assistant to handsome and moody executive, Justin Brewster. Justin has recently moved to Arlington, Texas from Portland, Oregon in order to assume a top position. Reeling from his divorce from his college sweetheart, Lisa, Justin has no time for romance in his life. Justin finds himself surprised by his immediate attraction to his beautiful assistant. Not only does Justin find Randa attractive, but her business savvy and advertising knowledge is unsurpassed. Matter of fact, Justin finds himself a bit intimidated by all the kudos Randa receives in her position. Although Justin is reluctant to mix business with pleasure, he finds himself making love to Randa after she is traumatized by a near car-jacking. The morning after their interlude Randa wakes up alone, without Justin by her side. When Justin then lashes out at her at work, Randa tells herself that she is done with her moody boss. Never again will she allow Justin Brewster to get under her skin. For his part, Justin feels that Randa is indifferent to him and he is trying to shield his heart from being broken all over again. When Justin begins to realize that Randa may be the love of his life he is forced to convince his assistant that they have a future together."
