Plot Summary of Future Perfect
"Juliana Anderson is living quietly and happily in the bed-and-breakfast inn she co-owns and co-manages with her aunt. Her inn is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of a bestselling mystery/thriller author Webster Donovan, who has booked in the inn for 6 weeks. Although she loves his books, her first impression of Webster is not a good one especially when he appears late and dirty in her inn. The instant attraction that flares up between them also causes Juliana to treat him remotely. Webster is interested and attracted to Juliana. But her attitude suggests that she doesn't want anything to do with him. However when Juliana is in need of help with running the inn after her aunt has taken a vacation, Webster steps in to help her and their proximity brings them closer to one another. Juliana can't help but be charmed by Webster's personality. Webster is fascinated with Juliana because although she presents to be a prim and proper lady in the inn, outside of it she is wild as any other woman. She even rides a Harley bike with complete leather suit. Her presence also appears to be the solution to his writer's block. When her aunt returns, both of them are able to spend more time alone with each other. They get into a relationship with Juliana believing that it's only a fling. She can't be too close to Webster fearing for his rejection if he knows her dyslexia problem. Juliana is always conscious of her dyslexia but it doesn't stop her from reading books. Webster believes that Juliana is the woman for him and confesses his love for her which she reciprocates. When he proposes to her, Juliana refuses reasoning that she can't give up her independence. Webster is devastated. When Juliana is able to reflect on her life, she finally realizes that her life would be more fulfilling with Webster in it.   "
