| Plot Summary of The Calorie Counters |
"The story revolves around the life of a 28 year old lady called June who is obese and unhappy. She is married to a man called Barry who is also overweight.
When Barry leaves June for another women; June hits rock bottom, consoling herself with her only friend - food.
After a visit to the doctor to help with depression, June is told that if she dosn't lose weight she will die. She is referred to a weight loss group called The Calorie Counters, where she meets new friends who help her turn her life around.
