| Plot Summary of Shield of Lies |
"Book Two is broken up a little unusually. The first part of the book is dedicated solely to Lando's story. He and his team have snuck on to the mystery ship, but are stuck there with means of communication and no way to control the ship.
The second part of the book continues Luke's journey with Akanah in search of the Fallanassi. They journey from planet to planet, picking up clues as they go, but Luke begins to question Akanah's motives and whether she has been completely truthful with him.
The last part of the book has Leia dealing with the the lies and misinformation that Nil Spaar has spread. The Senate is stuck questioning Leia and her actions, due to the lies of Nil Spaar, thus giving the Yevetha the time to begin their conquest and fortify their positions. The Yevetha also kidnap Han Solo to use as leverage against Princess Leia."
