| Plot Summary of Night Without End |
"When the survivors of an airliner crash are rescued and brought to a nearby IGY weather-research station, complications ensue: A survivor's apparent suffocation, the sabotage of the station's radio, and disappearing supplies.
Further investigation by IGY scientists Mason and Jackstraw uncovers the fact that the passengers were doped before the crash, and the pilots and a dead passenger were murdered. And why would an airliner scheduled to land in Reykjavik, Iceland have been so off-course?
Limited resources and supplies force Mason, Jackstraw, and the survivors to undertake a trek via tractor to the expedition base, 300 miles away. When a plot that threatens world peace is uncovered, the criminals escape with the tractor, leaving the stranded party facing a blizzard.
