"National Underwater and Marine Agency projects director Dirk Pitt encounters an archeological survey team in trouble on the mountains of Peru. There he learns about an archeological traffic network in the Andes and some long lost Inca treasure as well. he must rescue the archeological team, who has fallen on the criminals hands along with long time friend Al Giordino.
In order to stop the archeological traffic criminals he has to retrace the steps of the right-hand man of Legendary seaman Francis Drake and retrieve the treasure himself."
