Plot Summary of The Tailor of Panama
"Harry Pendel is tailor to the rich and famous of Panama; his skills are renowned. Few know that they were gained from spending some quality time in a British jail for arson. Panama is a hot bed for drugs, gun running, and maybe even worse things. The British secret service would love to have access to some human based intelligence from Panama. What better candidate than the tailor to the politicians and crooks.

Harry is recruited into the murky world of spying by Andrew Osnard. Osnard is at first a seducer, but it does not take long before the seduction takes on a more sinister turn, Osnard knows more about Harry, than Harry would like. Harry's money problems are large, he has a mistress, plus that little issue with the British justice system, these all add up to a lot of potential misery for someone well respected in Panama.

Harry becomes the 'ear' for the security services, and he gives them the best gossip. Gossip beyond their wildest dreams. Is Harry naughty or nice though, that is the question?
