Plot Summary of The Viking's Woman
"Lady Rhiannon is a woman who knows exactally what she wants out of life. She is cousin and ward to the King Alfred and she owns much land and good holdings. Then, one day the Vikings attacked.

Eric is a Prince who's been called upon by the King Alfred as an ally to help fight the Norsemen. He himself being half Norse on his father's side and half Irish on his mothers. He is happy to help. He and his men arrive on the land only to find that they are being attacked. Eric is shot in the leg with the arrow of a woman (Rhiannon) and vows that he has been betrayed by the King. When King Alfred gets wind that his ally had been attacked he trys to make amends while vowing that the messanger who he sent to tell Rhiannon about his arrival had not been seen since. The King asks what the Prince wishes as his due and the Price replys that he wanted the land he stood on. The King had a better sugestion. When Lady Rhiannon hears that she has been pledged in marriage to the 'Viking' she is most agrieved for she already loved another. She vows that she will never wed the man. Unfortunatly for her, Eric always gets whats and he wants her. Against her wishes Rhiannon does marry the man but vows not to love him.

They missunderstand each other most of the time and fight constantly and Eric forever thinks that Rhiannon still loves her previous love."
