| Plot Summary of After The Night |

" The night young Faith Devlin's mother and her married lover, Guy Rouillard, disappeared Faith became upset. Scion to the Rouillard empire, Gray Rouillard vented his anger and hurt by having the remaining members of Faith's family forced out of town.
Years later Faith discovers that her mother had run away alone and, suspecting foul play, she returns to her hometown to try and solve the mystery of Guy's disappearance.
Faith's investigation pits her against Gray. Their attraction to each other is powerful. He desires her but wishes to shelter his mother and sister from old memories and pain. Gray's decision to force Faith out again is severely altered by someone who wants Faith out of the picture completely and they must work together to ferret out a murderer. "
