"Although this was a fairly simplistic plot, the characters are so well-drawn that you can't help caring about them. A poor young girl gets caught up in the fast life of her movie star lover. Later decides to leave Hollywood to protect her child. Marries a good man, has a great life in a small town, but years later is still secretly obsessed with the first love. An terrible accident brings out the truth for the woman, her husband, and her children."
