Plot Summary of Back In The Bedroom
"Tessa Delacantro works as a temp in Eddie Ledger's agency, and she's agreed to watch his posh house while he's away for the weekend. When she walks in on a robbery in progress, she is man-handled and thrown into a small room containg a small cot and a large sexy stranger wearing nothing but black knit boxers. The man is Reilly Ledger, Eddie's son, who managed to take out three of the robbers before he was knocked over the head and thrown into the servant's room. He's an ex-CIA agent who's a rough, tough, dangerously edgy alpha male - not the sensitive, compassionate, beta man Tessa's been looking for.
Surprisingly, sharing the small cot and snuggling for body warmth leads to some emotional sharing and passionate kissing. In the morning Reilly escapes, subdues the thieves, and calls the police. He and Tessa go their separate ways attributing the experience to the cold room and the stressful situation.
Tessa would like to see Reilly again, but doesn't really expect to until Eddie sends her to work as a temp in Reilly's accounting business. Tessa is the last person Reilly wants to have working for him. His last CIA mission involving a woman had gone really bad, he's been withdrawn and wary ever since, and he doesn't want to let anyone close. As they spend more time together passions flare and Tessa begins to realize she's smitten, but although Reilly knows that being with her feels right, he's a loner who doesn't need or want anyone, or is he?
