Plot Summary of Forever in Your Embrace
" Countess Synnovea Zinkovna is ordered to travel to Moscow, by the Tsar Mikhail Romanov. She is to live with the Tsar's cousin Princess Anna and her husband Prince Aleksi after her father's death, in order to find a suitable husband. But on the way to Moscow Synnovea's coach is attacked and she is kidnapped by Ladislaus, a leader of a gang of dangerous outcasts, she is quickly recovered by the brave British officer Colonel Tyrone Rycroft and is safely seen to Princess Anna's care. However, Princess Anna is not to pleased to have Synnovea there because of her husband's roaming eyes and his special taste for virgins. So in a rush to get Synnovea out of her house Anna signs an agreement for Synnovea to marry a man old enough to be her grandfather.

In order for Synnovea to be rid of her betrothed and the unwanted and increasingly more violent attentions from Anna's husband, Synnovea uses Colonel Rycrofts affection for her to discard her virginity. When Aleksi learns of what Synnovea has done he vows to teach the Colonel and Synnovea a lesson. He has the Colonel whipped and tells him all about how Synnovea used the Colonel to be free of her betrothal contract.
The Tsar interrupts further whippings and after finding out what has happened orders Rycroft and Synnovea to be married, even though Rycroft cannot stand the sight of Synnovea for using him. So Rycroft vows that when he goes back to England he will get an annulment from the beauty. Although he soon learns that is a hard statement to stand by. Will love win out in the end? And will the Hero Rycroft rescue Synnovea when she gets kidnapped again by Ladislaus who wants Synnovea for himself? "
