| Plot Summary of Decider |
"Lee Morris is a 35 yr. old husband, father of six sons and architect whose passion and livelihood is revitalizing what he calls "ruins." His home (a remodeled "ruined" barn) is one day invaded by ghosts from his mother's past in the form of racecourse officials who want his help. From his mother, he inherited some shares in the Stratton Racecourse which is principally owned by the Stratton family. His mother, 40 years earlier, was once married into this aristocratic family but left because of domestic violence and marital rape. She left behind his half-sister conceived in that marriage, remarried and lived happily until her death. The patriarch, Lord Stratton, has recently died, and the remaining shareholding family is split into two factions: sell it-vs-save it. Partly out of curiosity, Lee is drawn to attend a shareholder's meeting to finally see the Stratton clan. Lee barely saves one of his sons and himself from an explosion, and he is brutally attacked. However, in the end, he ultimately avenges his mother's long-ago sufferings."
