Plot Summary of Lunch Money
"Lunch Money is about a young boy named Greg. Ever since he was little, he was interested in money. He loved to collect his money and see how large the sum would get. Through doing his sister's and brother's chores as well as his own, he earned two hundred dollars by the time he was six, but his mother soon stopped his business by saying his siblings needed to do their own chores. Through selling lemonade and toys at school, he had a grand sum of over three thousand dollars by the time he was in fifth grade!

But all was not well for Greg. His arch-rival Maura decides that she can make money, too. But Greg thinks that she is copying his ideas and taking all of his customers away. Will Maura take all of Greg's customers away? Will they ever learn to become friends?"

" Greg has been a money lover since preschool. By the time he was eleven years old, he had a savings account in the bank of more than 3,200 dollars. He always looked for new ways to make money-selling lemonade, doing his brothers' chores, shoveling snow, and raking the leaves for the neighbors. Then, at the end of the fifth grade year, he made his greatest money making discovery ever.
Kids at school always had extra quarters floating around, so he decided to sell troll dolls at school for a quarter each. The principle of the school found out and said that he had to stop selling troll dolls at school. All during the summer, Greg was working on a new production-comic books. The principle hadn't said that he couldn't sell at all at school, just not troll dolls. So in sixth grade he came out with a line of miniature comics called Chunky Comics, but the school rejects those as well. Teaming up with his arch enemy, Greg thinks he can find a way to get the school to approve his comics. Will it work?"
