| Plot Summary of Princess In Pink |
"In this fifth installment of the popular Princess Diaries series Princess Mia is finally settling into her life. Lately, her life has been pretty awesome. She's eagerly awaiting the birth of her brother or sister and she has recently joined the staff of the school newspaper. What Mia really wants is to go to the prom with her boyfriend Michael. Problem is, Michael hasn't asked her yet and the prom is two weeks away. Although all of Mia's dreams revolve around going to the prom, she doesn't want to look like a loser and ask him to prom. It really matters to her that Michael makes the first move. But as the prom gets closer and closer without an invitation from Michael, Princess Mia's life suddenly takes a turn for the worse. When service works go on strike due to Grandmere's actions, the prom that Mia wants to attend more than anything is looking like it may be cancelled."
