| Plot Summary of Scandal and Miss Smith |
"Sebastian Alexander Deverell has returned in England after fifteen years of exile in India. He now has his own title and respectable wealth. His family, who banished him long ago, is dead now, except his brother's orphan. But he has no interest in them whatsoever, so he is surprised when their governess comes to London and resigns.
Phoebe had had enough. Young Deverells are impossible. She is ready to wash hands of them, but Baron Deverell is persistent. So she stays on her post altrough make clear that she is not to become his mistress.
After all, its very hard to find job,especially with Phoebes past. But he is ready to seduce her-so he talks with her,walks with her and kisses her. Phoebe know she could not merry him so she tries to resist. But their wards continue to make trouble, and trying to save them guardian and governess become more and more closer.
Finaly, when unknown men threats Phoebe, Sebastian is more then ready to dash in her rescue but it turns out that criminal knows something they don't and that secret could destroy them both."
