| Plot Summary of No Use Dying Over Spilled Milk |
"Magdalena Yoder, a Mennonnite of Amish origin, is the proprieter of the PennDutch Inn. When she receives word that a cousin has been found dead, naked and floating in a tank of milk, Magdalena knows it's murder. Amish men don't go swimming in unpasteurized milk in the middle of the winter.
Magdalena, her sister and her cook all head to Farmersburg, Ohio, the scene of the Valentine's Day milk drowning, for the funeral. When they arrive Magdalena discovers that not even a week earlier another Amish man died by falling off of a silo ladder. What happens next begins a war between cheese makers and it's up to Magdalena to discover what's happening in the once quiet town of Farmersburg. "
