| Plot Summary of This Lullaby |
" This Lullaby starts off when the main character, Remy who is 18, is waiting for her father-to-be in his car business. At the bussiness, Remy meets an obnoxious boy who is a little bit older than she is.
After seeing this boy almost constantly around town, Remy learns his name is Dexter. Dexter is everything Remy can't stand. He's messy and unkempt, the perfect description of someone Remy wouldn't date in a million years. And also, Dexter is a musician, just like Remy's father who she never really got to know. Throughout the book, when Remy talks about her father, there is always some negativity, showing the readers that Remy's father isn't her favorite person in the world.
After Remy gets to know Dexter better and after she discovers his sweet side, they begin dating. Dexter and Remy's relationship soon comes to an abrupt end when Dexter realizes that Remy is not the easiest person to become close to, and she has a problem expressing her feelings to him."
