| Plot Summary of All Through the Night |
" Anne Wilder, a widowed companion by day, becomes the notorious jewel thief "the Wrexhall Wraith" by night, stealing jewels from the rich to fund her charity that cares for homeless soldiers. Jack Seward is an agent of the Crown, assigned to find the Wraith, to retrieve a letter which was hidden in a jeweled box the Wraith had stolen. When the two meet during one of her robberies late one night, Jack discovers the notorious thief is a woman, and the sparks ignite between them.
Jack, believing the Wraith is a woman of the Ton, begins to attend various functions looking for the thief, and during his forays he encounters Anne Wilder, a sedate, but witty, widow who captures Jack's interest. Anne, who is attracted to Jack, is confused by her feelings, knowing that Jack is hunting her.
As the two become closer, the political intrigue of the missing letter begins to draw them in, and when Jack discovers that Anne is the Wraith, he feel angered and betrayed, but still is compelled to protect her from evil spies."
