| Plot Summary of Rebellious Desire |
" Caroline Richmond was sent away from by father in England to live with her uncle in Boston when she was four years old. She grew up happily on a farm there and came to think of her uncle and aunt as her parents and her cousins as family. She never knew why her father had sent her away, and after fourteen years she'd stoped wondering. But when her real father sends for her to return to England life as she knows it is turned upside down.
While in England Caroline meets the Duke of Bradford. She instantly takes a disliking to him, yet finds herself oddly attracted to him at the same time. Bradford has never met another woman quite like Caroline, and although he doesn't trust that she's really as innocent as she seems, he still vows to have her.
When someone begins threatening Caroline, Bradford and Caroline must work together to end the threats. But Bradford doesn't trust Caroline or his own emotions enough to make things go smoothly."
