"Lisa Beamer, the wife of Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer, helped author this book about the courage of her husband Todd and the other passengers of Flight 93 who brought the plane down in a Pennyslvania field rather than let it be used as a terrorist weapon on 9/11/01.
Lisa gives the reader a thorough background of Todd, his family, and the way he was raised, along with her own background. We find out what their childhoods were like, how they met in college at Wheaton, and the kind of relationship they had as newlyweds and starting their family. They lived the American dream as a devout Christian couple while Todd worked his way up the corporate ladder at Oracle.
Lisa talks about the moment she knew her husband would never be coming home and how she found the strength to carry on. She talks about the friends and family who helped her get through the first days and the media frenzy that soon followed.
