Plot Summary of Blue Moon
"Olivia is an innocent 19 year old girl. While traveling down the Ohio river in a flatboat, her family is stopped and threatened by river pirates. The pirates kidnap Olivia and sell her to Darcy Lankanal,a New Orleans brothel owner. Darcy keeps her captive for a year before Oliva manages to escape. Now on the run to find her family she is injured while trying to make her way through an Illinois swamp.

Reclusive Noah LeCroix finds Oliva injured in the swamp, near his home high up in the trees. Noah had withdrawn into the swamp to live after a flatboat accident removed one of his eyes and left him scarred. He had never been close to or been with a women before, and his feeling for Olivia grew with each passing day that he nursed her back to health.

As Noah and Olivia begin to fall in love, they have to overcome the past, their own feelings of unworthiness, and to face the danger that threatens Olivia still."
