| Plot Summary of Separate Lives |
"Mervyn is a high school art teacher who ends up falling in love and marrying one of his old students, Moira. They move to an island near Greece where Mervyn pursues his career as an artist and Moira trys to be the perfect housewife. Life is good until Moira gets bored with it all. She misses her family and the simple life she led. While spoiled Moira sits at home and pouts, Mervyn sees more of their neighbor Leonora, a rich Italian heiress. Mervyn and Moira's actions in life has an effect on everybody involved. Moira intentionally gets pregnant and insists on returning back to England. Mervyn stays on at the island and has an affair with Leonora. Before the baby is born, Moira becomes deathly ill, and Leonora and Mervyn are stalked by her old boyfriend, a dangerous and obsessed murderer."
