"Maria is a very beutifull and poor girl from a Brazilian city.
When she grows up and becomes aware of her beauty, she decides that she can make her living out of it and goes to Switzerland to be a Samba dancer. But, after breaking the rules imposed by the owner, she has to become a prostitute to survive in Geneva.
But, when she finally decided that love was not for her because it only made her suffer, she falls in love with a well known painter. "
