| Plot Summary of Immortal in Death |
"Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the New York police is preparing for her wedding to billionaire Roarke. The designer who is making her wedding dress just happens to be the boyfriend of her best friend, Mavis. His previous girlfriend, top fashion model Pandora, refuses to accept the fact that he is no longer interested in her, except as someone to advertise his fashions. When the woman is murdered, the evidence all points to Mavis, whom Eve is forced to arrest for the murder. It soon become apparent that two other murders are related to Pandora's murder, and all three are connected to a mysterious and lethal new drug.
Eve has to work with a handsome narcotics officer who shows definite and unwanted interest in her. Evidence points to three people, all of whom knew Pandora and one of whom is addicted to the new drug."
