| Plot Summary of Keeper of the Light |
"Annie O'Neil is shot on Christmas Eve in front of her daughter. She is rushed to the hospital where Olivia Simon tries to save her. She does her best but it isn't enough, and only later does she learn that Annie is the woman her husband is obsessed with. After she dies Olivia's husband leaves her.
Later Olivia meets Alec, Annie's grieving husband. She wants to try to get close to the man Annie loved, but in the process she falls in love herself. She is pregnant, and Alec, who is falling in love with her, urges her to tell her husband.
As time goes on Alec learns that Annie cheated on him many times, and that Paul, Olivia's husband, was Annie's first love. They also learned that Annie had several abortions. When Olivia, Paul, and Alec learn this, how will they deal with the information, and who will Olivia choose?"
