| Plot Summary of Strip City |
"Strip City is a semi-autobiographical account of a current writer by the name of Lily Burana. When she was younger she was an exotic dancer. This book details her last farewell tour. She goes on a cross country trip, from strip club to strip club, so that she can get rid of the feeling that she has been missing something. Lily tells detailed stories of how some dancers are friendly to a new face, but also how others will do almost anything just to make an extra buck. Things like show a little more than they were supposed to, or do 'extra things' on the side for the high paying customers. She even started having her husband go to various club dates with her. She traveled from San Diego to Alaska to Atlanta and then back, with numerous stops in between. "
