| Plot Summary of Deadly Operation |
"Serena, from book 7, is head nurse at Mercy ICU. Patients are dying, and she discovers there has been deliberate mis-medication, so calls Nick.
The patient who died last was writing a book exposing a crooked investment scheme by a doctors' group. The chart that had the deadly medication order is switched, but there was something about that chart that could expose the killer. There were two people who might have spotted that evidence - then one of them is murdered. There are several murders in the past, but what was the connection?"
C. D. Moulton, Resident Scholar
