Plot Summary of Dancing on the Wind
"Lucien, Earl of Strathmore, is a top spy in the war against Napoleonic France. His current case requires him to become a member of a dissolute club of rakes whose leaders are suspected of aiding the French. While posing as one of the rakes, he meets Kit Travers several times before he realizes she keeps fooling him with her disguises. He is intrigued and a little offended because he cannot believe she deceived him.

He soon learns that she too is spying, so, they join forces. Kit is looking for her twin sister. Lucien reveals he also has a twin. But he mistakenly thinks because Kit is so unorthodox, they can freely explore their attraction for each other. But when they have sex, Lucien discovers Kit is a virgin. He longs for a loving family life and does not know if he has ruined his chances of finding it with Kit."
