| Plot Summary of Getting Lucky |
"Colm McGinty has been floundering from job to job for years. He calls his home Kelly's Irish Rose, a neighborhood bar run by Moira Kelly, who's been running the tavern since the death of her father. Moira used to date Colm but not any more, considering him a losing prospect.
Business at the Irish Rose is in toilet because of a spate of bad luck. Moira thinks it has something to do with the new bar across the street, but Colm isn't so sure.
That's when he meets the strange little fellow who started frequenting the bar just a few months ago. A drunk named Lonnie, with a seemingly hollow leg for whiskey. It turns out that Lonnie is a bit more than he appears -- he's a leprechaun. Unfortunately, Lonnie is the most unlucky leprechaun that anyone is likely to meet. Now, every thing he touches begins to sour... including Kelly's Irish Rose.
Now it's up to Colm to find a way to break Lonnie's curse in order to win back the woman he loves -- Moira Kelly, the woman who hates him."
