"Beautiful Diana Lindsay was the newest most sought after courtesan in Regency London. When Diana meets handsome brooding Gervase, Viscount St. Aubyn, she knows he is the only man she would consider as her protector. Gervase does not recognize her and she has a score to settle with him.
Diana is like no other mistress Gervase had ever known and he feels possessive enough to intrude on her private life, getting to know her young son. But Gervase cannot offer Diana marriage. He has a wife, Mary Hamilton, who he abandoned after their wedding night. He does not know that his wife's full name is Mary Diana Lindsay Hamilton."
