| Plot Summary of The Hunt for Hawke's Daughter |
" After a hot affair Karen Ramey walked out of Devlin Hawke's life without any explanation, and now three years later one of his investigations leads him back to her. Devlin unfortunately informs Karen that the man she married is not legally her husband, as he never bothered to divorce his previous wife. Karen's husband left with her daughter while she was on a business trip.
To get Devlin to help her get her daughter back she tells him the secret of why she left. Livie is his daughter! Also, Devlin was unintentionally responsible for the death of his youngest sister. Now, as they get closer to retrieving Livie, and old sparks begin to fly between them, Karen realizes she wants Devlin as her boyfriend again.
