| Plot Summary of The Pregnant Princess |
"Elizabeth is one of the three Princesses of Wyndborough who is the focus of this series, along with her missing brother.
While at a charity ball she meets the eyes of a dashing man across the room and is instantly drawn to him. She is so taken with him she looses her virginity to him, before he disappears the next morning. Soon she figures out that she is pregnant and on the advice of her sister she takes the business card that was left behind and goes to America to search out her construction worker, while harboring fantasies of “happily ever after”.
Rafe Throntonburg is a Prince living the life he wants to live in America. He has distanced himself from his overbearing father and basically cut all ties with his royal family. He can't get Elizabeth out of his mind. When she shows up and he confronts her and determines not only is she a Princess but is pregnant he reacts badly by ranting and raving, assuming his father has set the whole scenario up.
While Elizabeth is still drawn to him and is continuing to fall in love with him, he continues to push her away. Though she sneaks out on him 3 different times he appears to be slow to learn and continues to falsely accuse her of being in cahoots with his father.
