| Plot Summary of Spaceballs: The Book |
"Spaceballs: The Book is the novelization of the movie Spaceballs, a parody of the Star Wars series.
Princess Vespa runs away from her wedding to Prince Valium, and is promptly captured by the Spaceballs, a starfaring race led by the evil Dark Helmet. Helmet has designs on Vespa's world, Druidia, and its limitless supply of oxygen.
King Roland of Druidia contacts Lone Star, smuggler and adventurer for hire, and convinces him to rescue Vespa. Lone Star agrees, in exchange for one million Spacebucks. Lone Star and his trusty sidekick, Barf (half-man, half-dog), save Vespa just in time, and set off for Druidia. However, the mission to get Vespa back to her world will not be easy. The Spaceballs are still after her, Lone Star's ship crashes on an alien world, and Vespa and Lone Star begin to fall in love with each other..."
