"Cat Delaney, a soap star, gets a second chance at life through a heart transplant. After her brush with death she moves to San Antonio and begins 'Cat's Kids' a weekly t.v. program to help special needs children find permanent homes. On assignment she meets ex-cop and writer Alex Pierce. The sparks between the two are immediate and intense but romance is sidetracked when Cat begins receiving threatening mail. Other transplantees from her transplant date are dying in bizarre 'accidents'. Cat must find out if she's next on the list with her transplant anniversary date looming. With Alex's help she begins a search to get to the bottom of the threats, but several of Cat's friends are more than they seem and one of them is deadly."
