Plot Summary of Call of the Heart
"Lalitha's stepsister is offically engaged to poor but titled Julius Verton and has promised to elope with very wealthy Lord Rothwyn. When Sophie changes her mind yet again, it is left to Lalitha to deliver the news to Lord Rothwyn.

Lord Rothwyn is furious, he believed in Sophie's love so much that he
wagered 10,000 guineas that she would marry him. To Lalitha's
astonishment, he comes up with the perfect solution to win the bet and have revenge on Sophie, he will marry Lalitha. Lord Rothwyn and Lalitha are making the best of their sudden marriage, when Sophie suddenly appears having changed her mind yet again. Sophie and her mother will stop at nothing to win Lord Rothwyn, even if it means endangering Lalitha. "
