"Lt. Cmdr. Catherine Fredrickson knows it's forbidden to have a relationship with her commanding officer Royce Nyland, but try as she might, she can't stop thinking about the man. When she finds out that he's a widower raising an adorable 10-year-old daughter, Kelly, Catherine falls head-over-heels in love with both Royce and Kelly.
