Plot Summary of A March to Madness: A View from the Floor in the Atlantic Coast Conference
"This is a look at the most exciting college basketball conference in the country. It is the story of the 1996-1997 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) basketball season for the nine-team conference from preseason expectations and hype through the team schedules up to the ACC tournament and NCAA tournament selections. The personalities of the coaches, players and fans are unforgettable with luminaries such as coaches Gary Williams, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, or players Tim Duncan and Vince Carter.

An ACC basketball fan's inside look at the passion, exultation, drama, and heartbreak that only college sports can offer. Written in an intelligent and respectful style, Mr. Feinstein avoids the sensational and aims for fact and substance. Nowhere will one find Dick Vitale's wild ranting or Billy Packer prejudicial and snide commentary, just incredible college athletics with all the action and intensity the ACC is renowned for.
