Plot Summary of Diamonds are Forever
"As the fourth novel in Ian Fleming's James Bond series opens, a packet of diamonds leaves the deserts of Sierra Leone, the opening of a smuggling scheme that stretches from Africa to London and across the Atlantic Ocean to America, an operation that is costing the British government two million pounds every year.

Called in on the case is James Bond, Agent 007 of Her Majesty's Secret Service. Bond's mission is simple: infiltrate the ring and dismantle it from within.

Traveling from London to New York City and from there to Saratoga and Las Vegas, Bond uncovers the identities of the masterminds behind the scheme: Jack and Seraffimo Spang, leaders of the powerful American Spangled Mob.

Now with the aid of former CIA-agent Felix Leiter, now a Pinkerton detective, and the unwitting help of beautiful smuggler Tiffany Case, Bond sets-out to break the Mob.
