"Nicholas Gray is stunned when he discovers that he is now the sole guardian of his half-sisters' daughter, whom he hadn't known about. He now figures the easiest solution is to marry his nieces' nanny, Carlinda Donnelly. But convenience quickly dissipates in to protectiveness and love when they discover that there is someone out there who wants them dead.
