| Plot Summary of Cyrano De Bergerac |
" Cyrano De Bergerac, a poet as well as the greatest swordsman in France, is in love with the beautiful Roxanne. Unfortunately, he is has a huge nose, and she, unable to see beyond his physical ugliness to the beauty of his soul, is in love with a handsome, dashing young musketeer. While the musketeer is externally beautiful, he lacks the ability to speak with noble sentiment. Cyrano, unable to woo for himself, uses his own poetic eloquence to speak for him. In the end Roxanne must learn that love must look beyond a person's surface. "
