| Plot Summary of Now, Let Me Tell You What I Really Think |
"Now, Let Me Tell You What I Really Think is Chris Matthew's life story from his days growing up Catholic in Philadelphia in the 50's to his now famous role as the abrasive and impatient, yet funny host of Hardball on cable television. He pulls no punches in talking about his life, his opinions on America's leaders, very controversial political issues, and the future of the US.
He is a savvy news journalist who after college at UNC worked for the Peace Corp in Africa, became a US Capitol Hill police officer, worked in the Carter White house in the 70's, and then as a top aide to House Speaker Tip O'Neill, before his move to Hardball. He has authored two other books and he writes for the San Francisco Chronicle. His wife, Kathleen Matthews happens to be the anchor person on a Washington, DC based televison station newscast."
